All the outdoors fun stuff in the Sacramento Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Hiking along the Whiskey Trail is great fun; the skiing at Ski Apache is wonderful. During the warm months here at Galla Lakes, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. During the winter highs are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights       at Galla Lakes are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Galla Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Padilla Trail, and if you get bored of Galla Lakes you could also check out close by Twin Lakes. It is very arid here at Galla Lakes ordinarily; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most while April is commonly the driest month. This lake is located in the wonderful Sacramento                  Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Deer Crossing RV Park is a glorious place to camp; if you need a site to stay Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a good choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Galla Lakes. A lake close by is Red Lake, and Ramada Ruidoso Downs is a wonderful place to get some rest. A good location near Galla Lakes is Pajarita Canyon, and River Ranch Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Sacramento Mountains for a wonderful time.
