New Mexico has many beautiful lakes and Galisteo Reservoir is one of them. Why not camp at Trailer Ranch since you're here at Galisteo Reservoir. Sunrise Springs Inn is a good place to get some rest, also Galisteo Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Galisteo
Reservoir; Cochiti Frijoles Trail is a perfect local trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sandia Peak is pretty near.
