In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Gabaldon Lake is one of them. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains. Gabaldon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Armijo Campground is a great local campground, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Sawmill Camp Trail. Gabaldon Lake is located in the San Francisco Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Gabaldon

| | Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Quemado Lake Campground is a perfect spot for that, and do take a hike on the Escondido Trail. El Morro National Monument is a fine site in the vicinity of Gabaldon Lake; hiking along the Leslie Spring Trail is delightful fun. Gabaldon Lake gets very little rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Gabaldon Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.
