French Lake is pretty dried out regularly; all through August this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Summertime highs at French Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 30's while French Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the-10's. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for       a wonderful time. Why not camp at Cimarron Inn and RV Park while you're here at French Lake, and there's some interesting stuff to make out at French Lake Dam in close proximity to French Lake. The top of Indian Head is easily observed from French Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Angel Fire is rather near. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
