It is very dried out here at Franks Pit mostly; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Franks Pit with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Franks Pit through the winter typically fall into the 10's. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff       in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
