What a place this is for outdoors people. Dry warm beds await you at Travel Inn, and there are plenty of folks from Farmington here at Fourmile Reservoir. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fourmile Reservoir while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 30's while Fourmile Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the       winter are in the 10's. At Fourmile Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during August while June is ordinarily the driest month. A quick spree to Fourmile Wash near Fourmile Reservoir is a brilliant idea; whitewater paddling is great on San Juan River. Fourmile Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Mesa Verde. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Fourmile Reservoir, you'll come across Cordova Lake which is a striking lake, and                  Fourmile Reservoir is a perfect place to camp, River Grove RV Park is a perfect place. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn is a wonderful choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fourmile Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mom and Pop RV Park. This location, the Mesa Verde, has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Hiking along the Wheeler Trail is magnificent fun, and a splendid place is Cholla Canyon. So many cool things to do in the Mesa Verde, not enough time.
