This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Saint Johns Trail, and it's a wonderful idea to visit Aztec Springs Creek. Four Mile Reservoir is right by the Atalaya Trail, and Bishop's Lodge is a pleasant site to get some rest. The top of Atalaya Mountain is easily made out from Four Mile Reservoir; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Santa Fe. Lakes are wonderful; Twomile       Reservoir is a lake that's in close proximity to Four Mile Reservoir, and do put some time aside to spend at Aztec Spring while you're here at Four Mile Reservoir. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Nichols Dam, and Rancheros Campground is a good campground here. Four Mile Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried up usually; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. During                  the warmest time of the year at Four Mile Reservoir temperatures are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Four Mile Reservoir during the wintertime mostly dip into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Santa Cruz, and skiing at Ski Santa Fe is one of those things you just have to do. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Four Mile Reservoir. Bandelier National Monument is a perfect place near Four Mile Reservoir. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Four Mile Reservoir is tremendous fun, Tesuque Pueblo RV Campground is a tremendous local campground; after a long day outdoors Fort Marcy Hotel Suites is a splendid spot to spend a night or two.
