The beauty of Fireman Lake attracts many people from all around. Fireman Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sacramento Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. It's always magnificent to stop by Firman Spring; lots of people from Alamogordo come here. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Fireman Lake get into the 90's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 60's. | | in the 50's; overnight lows at Fireman Lake through the winter mostly dip into the 20's. But wait, there's more to do close to Fireman Lake. After a long day outdoors Cloudcroft Hotel is a great location to spend a night or two, unsurprisingly you could also go to Silver Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. So much exciting stuff in the Sacramento Mountains, just amazing. Hit the slopes at Ski Apache in close proximity; hiking along the Cedar Creek Trail is pleasant | |

fun. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Cloudcroft; Shields Dam is a pretty spot, undeniably worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Silver Campground, and Fireman Lake is right by the Perk Ridge Trail.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Sacramento Mountains. Since you're here at Fireman Lake why not stop by East Five Canyon, and Fireman Lake is not the only place close by, Goat Windmill is a close by lake.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fireman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Saddle Campground; the Osha Trail offers hiking at its best. Fireman Lake is a location that is reasonably arid ordinarily; most of the rain falls through August, and April on the other hand is the driest.

When we went fishing that day, we couldn't catch any fish, as a matter of fact there were about 30 other people around the lake, aside from the 8 people in our party fishing at different parts of the lake.
