What a nice lake Fenton Lake is. Fenton Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. All year is a perfect time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. The panorama of pretty Lake Fork Mesa near Fenton Lake is splendid; the scenery at Fenton Lake Dam is pretty. Fenton Lake is frequently a reasonably arid place; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is April. Going for a hike on the Palomas

| | Trail is always a great adventure, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Pajarito Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Perchas Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Fenton Lake has to offer, you can camp at Calaveras Campground. to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too magnificent to be true. Near Fenton Lake you discover the Padre Alonzo Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Lower Vallecito Reservoir is
one of those nearby. So much fun stuff to do here at Fenton Lake, too wonderful to be true. There's so much to do here at Fenton Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Seven Springs Campground is a pleasant site for that, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater of Jemez River.
