This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Seven Springs Campground is a good place to do that, and on a delightful day you get a great panorama of Lake Fork Mesa from Fenton Lake. Fenton Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. All the outdoors amusing things near Fenton Lake will keep you coming back time and again. There are fine locations to discover along the Palomas Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Jemez River

| | offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lower Vallecito Reservoir is around here, and going for a hike on the Padre Alonzo Trail is always a great adventure. All the outdoors fun things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Lake you obtain some glorious water scenery at Fenton Lake Dam. Throughout the days of summer here at Fenton Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter
come with highs in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Fenton Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Calaveras Well, and why not
head up to Pajarito Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Fenton Lake is typically a relatively waterless place; August is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
