This lake is located in the wonderful Mogollon Rim Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Sunrise Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and camping at Head of the Ditch Campground is always a wonderful experience. Around Lake Erin you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; April is the month with the least moisture. Do visit Erin Lake right next door       to Lake Erin, it's a gorgeous lake, and it's a great idea to pop by Lily Creek. Be careful coming to the Mogollon Rim Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Lake Erin is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Alpine Divide Campground is a delightful local campground, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Sawmill Spring. Throughout the summer here at Lake Erin, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. When the night                  sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Erin temperatures dip to the 10's.
