Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Eight drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Eight is not the only site close by, Lake Seven is a close by lake, and after a long day outdoors Kit Carson Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Very perfect water scenery is available at Stubblefield Dam near Lake Eight, and Oasis Motel is a good site to get some rest.
