The warmest time of the year at Ed Ladd Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Ed Ladd Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Not much rainfall falls here at Ed Ladd Lake; the month with most of the rain is August, and June is the month with the least moisture. Now,       you may believe that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the San Juan Mountains. Ed Ladd Lake is a magnificent place to camp, Buzzard Park Campground is a magnificent place; Best Western Jicarilla Inn is a splendid location to get some rest. Stay the night at Wolf Creek Valley Campground, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Navajo River. Ed Ladd Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Juan Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
