     Not much rain falls here at Ed Ladd Lake; most of the rain falls throughout August, and June on the other hand is the driest. A fine nearby hotel is Keyah Grande Resort, and get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Navajo River. High temperatures at Ed Ladd Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; overnight lows at Ed Ladd Lake during  
   the wintertime commonly drop into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Ed Ladd Lake, you'll hit upon Bancos Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and Wolf Creek Valley Campground is a great campground nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Santiago Pond is nearby.
