If you are in Taos county it's always a good idea to stop by Eagle Rock Lake. You truly must fancy Eagle Rock Lake. Eagle Rock is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Eagle Rock Lake; don't forget to take a nice little journey to Cabresto Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some wonderful whitewater, and there are plenty of people from Taos here at Eagle

| | Rock Lake. Eagle Rock Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Twining Blue Lake Trail, and after a long day outdoors Adobe and Stars Inn is a fine place to spend a night or two. Camping at Eagle Rock Campground is always a great experience, and close by you stumble on Almagre Canyon which is a good site to stop at. Everybody close by loves skiing at Red River, | |

and a fine close by hotel is Best Western River's Edge.
This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot to camp here at Eagle Rock Lake is Questa Lodge RV Park; going for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural
beauty of this vicinity. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Red River. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. The slopes of Ski Rio are so inviting nobody
can resist, and do take a hike on the Number 3 Lift Trail.
Summer at Eagle Rock Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally
in the 30's while Eagle Rock Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. At Eagle Rock Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the rain is August while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
