If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Mexico you can check out Eagle Rock Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is nice at Red River; a nice site for whitewater paddling is Rio Grande. you're in luck; Ski Rio is relatively near. Be careful coming to Eagle Rock Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's so much to do here at Eagle Rock Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Questa Lodge RV Park is a splendid site for that, and don't leave Eagle Rock Lake without first checking out Eagle Rock.
