Many people like to go to Eagle Nest Lake. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Eagle Nest Dam is a gorgeous site close to Eagle Nest Lake, and why not head up to Red River and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Econo Lodge Eagle Nest; don't leave Eagle Nest Lake without first going for a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail.

available along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Tolby Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at.
