What a nice lake Eagle Nest Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. Eagle Nest Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Weathers RV Park is a fine local campground. At Eagle Nest Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Eagle Nest Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. And if that's not enough there's a lot

There's so much to do here at Eagle Nest Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Eagle RV Park is a brilliant spot for that, and close by you stumble on the Burnt Ridge Trail which is a delightful hiking trail.
