Do stop by Eagle Lakes while you're in this part of New Mexico. So much amusing stuff in the Sacramento Mountains, just remarkable. Little Spring is a brilliant local attraction, and Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a great site to get some rest. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sacramento Mountains. While you're here at Eagle Lakes you can take a hike along the Dry Mills Trail, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Cedar Creek Trail.
