Beautiful Eagle Lake has much to offer visitors. The Sacramento Mountains scenery is always beautiful. High temperatures at Eagle Lake all through the summertime months are in the 90's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Eagle Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. And that's not all you can do here in the Sacramento Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. This is a magnificent vicinity for folks who like lakes. Eagle Lake Number two is a lake in close proximity, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Crest Trail. get some rest, and while you're here you can take a hike along the North Eagle Trail. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Cedar Creek Trail, and camping is available at Oak Grove Campground.
Just can't get enough of the
Sacramento Mountains. If you need a place to stay Hawthorn Suites Golf & Convention Resort - Ruidoso is a splendid choice, and the top of Cow Mountain is easily seen from Eagle Lake. It is very dehydrated here at Eagle Lake mostly;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is April. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Apache, and hey, South Fork Eagle Creek is a perfect local stream.
This lake is so wonderful.
