     Dulce Lake is a nice lake to visit. The warmest time of the year at Dulce Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's with temperatures at Dulce Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Dulce Lake gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is June. A delightful location to camp here at Dulce Lake is Buzzard  
   Park Campground; the Blanco River Trail offers hiking at its best.
All the outdoors exciting things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Just can't get enough of Dulce Lake. If you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs is a splendid choice, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Navajo River. This lake is so wonderful. You get a glorious panorama of Radio Hill from Dulce Lake; while you're here
 
               why not go to Cordova Canyon.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Jicarilla Inn, and a spree to Dulce Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Dulce Spring.
