    Dulce Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Go for a hike on the Blanco River Trail; Cordova Canyon is also a brilliant spot to discover. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Martinez Pond if you're here at Dulce Lake; it's close by, and Best Western Jicarilla Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. Dulce Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of  
   the year is June.
During the warmest time of the year highs here at Dulce Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dulce Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something in the vicinity of Dulce Lake? Luna Lake is nearby, and Dulce Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Acres Green RV Park

If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. From Dulce Lake you get a good sight of Radio Hill, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Pagosa Springs. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is bountiful here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Put some time aside to spend at Dulce Spring while you're here at Dulce Lake, and Buzzard Park Campground is a splendid local campground. Dulce Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Dulce Lake. Do visit Dulce Lake Dam while you're here at Dulce Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Navajo River.

The take out after Mesa Canyon is where Trujillo Rd gets close to the river on R Left @ 37. 125988°, -107. 051072°
