    A visit to The Dry Lakes is always a good idea. The Dry Lakes is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Flats Campground is a tremendous local campground, and get covered with water paddling on Gila River. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at The Dry Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at Silver City Super 8 Motel. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the San Francisco Mountains. On a tremendous day at The Dry Lakes you can  
   take a hike along the Turkey Creek Trail, and a striking lake like Goose Lake is a perfect place to take a look at.
Not much rainfall falls here at The Dry Lakes; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is April. There's so much to do here at The Dry Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Scorpion Corral Campground is a nice spot for that, and the Miller Springs Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. This lake is
 
               so wonderful. Near The Dry Lakes you hit upon the Little Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Tadpole Lake.
This lake is one of the great places here in the San Francisco Mountains. Through the warmest time of the year at The Dry Lakes temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at The Dry Lakes drop into the 20's.
