    If you are in Grant county it's always a good idea to stop by The Dry Lakes. The Dry Lakes is a great place to visit for more than one day, Scorpion Corral Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Turkey Creek Trail is always a wonderful adventure. At The Dry Lakes during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while The Dry Lakes night low  
   temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's. Don't leave The Dry Lakes without first going for a hike along the Little Creek Trail.
The Dry Lakes is located in the San Francisco Mountains. Around The Dry Lakes you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are good places to look at along the Miller Springs Trail. You'll need more
 
               than a day to look at everything The Dry Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Pine Flats Campground.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Gila River, and Silver City Super 8 Motel is a splendid place to get some rest.
