  A short visit to Sawmill Spring is always worthwhile, and at Dry Lakes you always meet someone from Vallecitos. There are other locations here than Dry Lakes, for example Rinker Lake. Camping at El Ritito Campground is always a glorious experience, and Carson National Forest is a delightful spot to go.
Camping is available at Hopewell Lake Campground. For the duration of the summer highs here at Dry Lakes reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures
    fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Dry Lakes dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
