    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New Mexico you can check out Dry Lakes. Dry Lakes is pretty waterless mostly; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and May meanwhile is the driest month. Here at Dry Lakes you'll most likely meet some folks from Espanola. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not stop by Abeyta Lake next to Dry Lakes; you can stay the night at Hopewell Lake Campground.
There are other
 
   places here than Dry Lakes, for example Posos Lake; Dry Lakes is a nice place to visit for more than one day, El Ritito Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Dry Lakes highs are generally in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are regularly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Dry Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Sawmill Spring will fill your soul with great feelings; paddling on San Antonio River is so much fun.
