Dry Lakes is located in the San Francisco Mountains. Around Dry Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and April on the other hand is the driest. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the San Francisco Mountains. Negrohead Butte is clearly visible from Dry Lakes. There's so much to do here at Dry Lakes that you need to       camp here for a while, Jewett Gap Campground is a tremendous place for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dry Lakes. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's while Dry Lakes night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Sawmill Camp Trail.
