If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the San Francisco Mountains. There are swamps here too; Fitzgerald Cienega is nearby, and Turkey Roast Spring is a stunning location to pop by while you're at Dry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant forest next to Dry Lake is Quemado Ranger District, and do take a hike on the Leslie Spring Trail. Dry Lake is generally a reasonably dry place; the month of August is the       wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is April. This place, the San Francisco Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. For the duration of the warm months at Dry Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Dry Lake. Dry Lake is a beautiful lake in the San Francisco Mountains. If only every place                  had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sawmill Camp Trail, and Jewett Mesa can be seen from Dry Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dry Lake has to offer, you can camp at Jewett Gap Campground, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sunrise Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two.
