    Do stop by Dry Lake while you're in this part of New Mexico. Yeah, come here to Dry Lake for a perfect time. Not far from Dry Lake you can enjoy the trees of Quemado Ranger District; if you're here, you might as well explore Lawson Canyon. Dry Lake is a location that is pretty arid frequently; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and April is when it's the driest. If you came to camp Armijo Campground is a glorious  
   location to do that; do put some time aside to spend at Turkey Roast Spring while you're here at Dry Lake.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dry Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Dry Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. So much exciting stuff in the San Francisco Mountains, just amazing. There's so much to do here at Dry Lake
 
               that you need to camp here for a while, Jewett Gap Campground is a splendid spot for that, and the summit of Jewett Mesa can be spotted from Dry Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Sawmill Camp Trail, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a wonderful choice.
And that's not all the things you can do here in the San Francisco Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dry Lake; Leslie Spring Trail is a pleasant local trail; a swamp like Fitzgerald Cienega near Dry Lake has lots of interesting things to see. Dry Lake is located in the San Francisco Mountains.
