Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Francisco Mountains. You get a great vista of Jewett Mesa from Dry Lake, and wonderful hiking is available along the Leslie Spring Trail. All the outdoors       enjoyable things in the San Francisco Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. A visit to Lawson Canyon is always fun; don't miss out on a wonderful swamp; Fitzgerald Cienega is right here at Dry Lake. Any time is a magnificent time at Dry Lake if you go for the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Armijo Campground is a perfect place to camp, and you can go for a hike on the Sawmill Camp Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
