This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Dos Lagunas get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's while Dos Lagunas overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. A lake close by is Laguana del Gallego. It is very       waterless here at Dos Lagunas commonly; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dos Lagunas you will meet lots of folks from nearby Las Vegas, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites LAS VEGAS is a wonderful place to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Plaza Hotel Las Vegas is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Las Vegas Koa                  Kampground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
