Just can't get enough of the Zuni Mountains. A trip to El Morro National Monument is recommended. Lakes are great; Ramah Reservoir is a lake that's close to Dog Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Zuni Mountains. There are plenty of people from Gallup here at Dog Lake; needless to say, this is a great area for people who like lakes, Togeye Lake is a lake around here. Dog Lake is pretty waterless typically;       all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the summertime here at Dog Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Dog Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's                  so much to do here at Dog Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tanaja Trading Post is a glorious location for that.
