    If you are in this part of New Mexico make sure to pay a visit to Deep Lake. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Blas Spring, and dry warm beds await you at Branding Iron Motel. At Deep Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; night lows at Deep Lake during  
   the wintertime frequently descend into the 0's. Deep Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio de los Brazos, and hiking along the Apache Trail is magnificent fun. It is very dried out here at Deep Lake commonly; the month with most of the rain is August, and April is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all you can do here at
 
               Deep Lake. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a good place for that, and if you came to camp Canjilon Creek Campground is a glorious spot to do that.
The Abiquiu Inn is a nice place to get some rest, and you'll possibly meet some folks from Espanola here. This lake is so wonderful. Rio Chama is a great whitewater spot next to Deep Lake, and Mogotito can be made out from Deep Lake. This spot, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining things.
