     The beauty of Deep Lake attracts many people from all around. A perfect nearby hotel is The Abiquiu Inn, and get your heart beating on the good whitewater of Rio de los Brazos. It is very dehydrated here at Deep Lake typically; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is April. For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Deep Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into  
   the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Deep Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Espanola here at Deep Lake; the Apache Trail is a tremendous hiking trail nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Deep Lake. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Canjilon Lakes
 
               Campground is a wonderful place for that, and of course, this is a fine area for people who like lakes, Laguna Pinabete Mocho is a lake close at hand. Just can't get enough of the San Juan Mountains. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Los Alamos, Nm is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; there's whitewater on Rio Chama for all you adrenaline kick people.
Deep Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Canjilon Creek Campground is a good local campground; Mogotito is scenic and can be observed from here. And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting things to do in the San Juan Mountains. Put some time aside to spend at Blas Spring since you're here at Deep Lake. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
