So many entertaining things in the Sacramento Mountains, just amazing. Camping is available at River Ranch Campground; Deep Lake is not the only location close by, Circle Diamond Lake is a close by lake. At Deep Lake you don’t see much rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is April. Deep Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sacramento Mountains.       Through the months of summer highs here at Deep Lake reach the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Deep Lake during the wintertime generally descend into the 20's. Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a good place to get some rest, and hiking along the Whiskey Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful.
