Camping at Cathedral Rock Campground is always a pleasant experience, and dry warm beds await you at Angel Fire Resort. Take a hike on the Santa Fe Trail; perfect skiing awaits you at Angel Fire. Summertime highs at Deep Lake typically tend to be in the 70's; the night is quite chillier of course, frequently in       the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the-10's for Deep Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Fort Union National Monument is worthwhile, and if you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a good choice. Deep Lake is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Deep Lake is a location that is relatively dehydrated mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile                  is the driest month.
