Go to Dead Dog Well if you want to go to a nice lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dead Dog Well, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Dead Dog Well sink into the 10's. Here at Dead Dog Well you'll probably meet some people from Santa Fe; if you've had enough of Dead Dog Well, Portales Pond is nearby. Alamo Creek

You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Weir Well is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. Dead Dog Well is right by the Capulin Canyon Trail, and Fairfield Inn By Marriott Santa Fe is a brilliant spot to get some rest. is August, and the driest month is February. Take a hike on the Atalaya Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Dead
Dog Well has to offer. If you came to camp Trailer Ranch is a splendid place to do that, and do pay a visit to Santa Fe National Historic Trail if you're here at Dead Dog Well. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of
the good skiing at Ski Santa Fe, and if you come at the right time of year, Rio Santa Cruz offers some tremendous whitewater. There's so much to do here at Dead Dog Well that you need to camp here for a while, Road Runner RV Park is a good site for that, and the Cochiti Frijoles Trail offers hiking at its best.
