Las Vegas Super 8 Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest, and a good location to camp here at Lake David is Vegas RV and Storage. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Santa Fe Trail, and Lake David is not the only place close by, Don Santiago Reservoir is a close by lake. And if that's not enough there's loads more entertaining things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you need a spot       to stay Star Hill Inn is a fine choice; Fort Union National Monument is one of the destinations that are nice to pop by close by. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lake David really is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. At Lake David you always meet someone from Las Vegas. Lake David is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Dukes RV Park is a fine local campground, and Lake Isabel Dam has brilliant water scenery.                  For the period of the warm months here at Lake David, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake David.
