Good hiking is available along the Apache Peak Trail, and why not camp at Head of the Ditch Campground if you're here at Dave Lee Lake. Yeah, come up here to the San Francisco Mountains for a magnificent time. If you need a location to stay Best Western Sunrise Inn is a glorious choice, and get covered with water paddling on San Francisco River. San Francisco Mountains can be  
   observed from Dave Lee Lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Upper Blue Campground is a magnificent location to camp.
For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Dave Lee Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Dave Lee Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. What a site this
