Curtis Canyon Dam is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sacramento Mountains. From a precipitation point of view Curtis Canyon Dam is a reasonably typical place; during August this area sees the most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. Don't leave Curtis Canyon Dam without first going for a hike along the Osha Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Curtis

When we went fishing that day, we couldn't catch any fish, as a matter of fact there were about 30 other people around the lake, aside from the 8 people in our party fishing at different parts of the lake.
