There are plenty of people from Taos here at La Cueva Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Comales Trail. Going for a hike on the North End Trail is always a perfect adventure; La Cueva Lake is a great place to visit       for more than one day, Duran Canyon Campground is a great place to camp nearby. La Cueva Lake is generally a pretty dried up place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. During the summertime at La Cueva Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
