    Many people like to go to Crowley Reservoir. Glide down the rapids of Navajo River in a kayak, and there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the V Rock Trail. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact abundant here at Crowley Reservoir. Dry warm beds await you at Branding Iron Motel, and a perfect place to camp here at Crowley Reservoir is Twin Rivers Trailer Park. You just have to love the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. On a great day at Crowley Reservoir  
   you can take a hike along the Leche Creek Trail, and you obtain a great view of Eagle Point from here.
Near Crowley Reservoir you hit upon the Blanco River Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and Best Western Jicarilla Inn is a good site to get some rest. During the long summer days at Crowley Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows at
 
               Crowley Reservoir through the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Some of the water nearby flows, like Stove Creek, and Crowley Reservoir is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Blanco River Campground is a delightful local campground.
Man, is there a heap of cool things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you're here, you might as well pop by Log Canyon, and Crowley Irrigation System Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Navajo River. Crowley Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Not much rainfall falls here at Crowley Reservoir; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is June.
