Go to Cow Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. The skiing at Taos is delightful; Best Western River's Edge is a delightful place to get some rest. Cow Lake is pretty dried out mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month. Here at Cow Lake you can make out Lobo Peak; Cow Lake is a perfect place to camp, Cuchillo De Medio Campground is a perfect place. This lake is so wonderful. Red River

| | is a fine whitewater spot right next door to Cow Lake, and if you need a site to stay Adobe and Stars Inn is a fine choice. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And if that's not enough there's plenty more cool stuff to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. close to Cow Lake called the Simpson Memorial Trail. Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. You'll need more than a day
to discover everything Cow Lake has to offer, you can camp at Italianos Campground. Through the days of summer highs here at Cow Lake get into the 80's, and the night is a little colder of course, usually in the 40's. For the period
of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Cow Lake all through the wintertime mostly fall into the 0's. Yeah, come here to Cow Lake for a delightful time. If the weather is wonderful here at Cow
Lake, you can go for a hike along the Number 3 Lift Trail, and a day on the slopes of Red River is just what you need.
