A great spot to camp here at Cout Lake is Nelson Reservoir Campground, and a journey to Cow Springs will fill your spirit with good feelings. Summertime at Cout Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Cout Lake. It is very arid here at Cout Lake regularly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month
