A visit to Cordova Lake is always a good idea. This lake is located in the wonderful Mesa Verde. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Meadows Reservoir is near Cordova Lake, and why not take a little spree to Fourmile Wash if you're here.
All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Mesa Verde will keep you coming back time and again. If you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn Farmington is a nice choice, and you can go for a hike on the Wheeler Trail.

| | Not much precipitation falls here at Cordova Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Animas River, and after a long day outdoors The Region Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two.

also pop by Fourmile Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. Norton Flats is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cordova Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mom and Pop
RV Park.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Cordova Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Cordova
Lake night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. During your tour to Cordova Lake you'll meet some people from Farmington for sure, and Cordova Lake is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, River Grove RV Park is a glorious spot to camp nearby.
