Conger Lake is a lake worth visiting. Having a splendid time at Conger Lake is simple. If you need a spot to stay SUPER 8 MOTEL - FARMINGTON EAST is a fine choice, and camping is available at Mom and Pop RV Park. A great nearby hotel is Farmington Travelodge, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Barrel Spring. Be careful coming to the Mesa Verde, you might not ever want to go home again. A visit to Coalbank Canyon is always fun; let's not forget

Conger Lake is a location that is pretty dry typically; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is June. That right there is lots of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Mesa Verde has it all. Whitewater paddling is good on San Juan River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Wheeler Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Conger Lake from Farmington, you won't be the only one, and get dripping wet paddling on Animas River.
This lake is so wonderful. Hesperus Ski Center is a magnificent local ski area. High temperatures at Conger Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime
brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Conger Lake are in the 10's.
