    Laguna Colorada is a lake worth visiting. Laguna Colorada is pretty dry usually; August is when you get the most rain here; June meanwhile is the driest month. Lakes? Sure, Hatch Lake is in close proximity. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Laguna Colorada has to offer, you can camp at Nacimiento Campground. Summertime highs at Laguna Colorada frequently tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 40's. Highs during the  
   winter are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Laguna Colorada tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. The Abiquiu Inn is a delightful location to get some rest; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the San Pedro Mountain Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Hiking along the River Trail is nice fun. There's so much to do here at Laguna Colorada that you need to camp
 
               here for a while, Clear Creek Campground is a pleasant spot for that. Laguna Colorada is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Not far from Laguna Colorada, you'll stumble on Williams Lake which is a picturesque lake, and going for a hike along the San Jose Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Laguna Colorada.
