If you get bored of City Reservoir, you could also check out close by Jackson Lake, and perfect skiing awaits you at Durango. Lots of people from Farmington come to City Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Civitan Golf Course. You'll need more than a day to explore everything City Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at River Grove RV Park. If you need a spot to stay La Quinta Inn Farmington is a magnificent choice. There's so much to do here at City Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mom and Pop RV Park is a great location for that. City Reservoir is not the only place nearby, Lake Farmington is a nearby lake; you can run the rapids of Animas River.
