High temperatures at City Reservoir all through the summer months are in the 90's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at City Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling next to City Reservoir is Animas River; why not camp at Mom and Pop RV       Park if you're here at City Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is La Quinta Inn Farmington, and camping is available at River Grove RV Park. Lake Farmington is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and while you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Civitan Golf Course. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of City Reservoir. Here at City Reservoir there are plenty of people from Farmington, and do stop by City                  Reser City of Farmington Dam while you're here.
