Laguna Chute is not far at all from Grants, and from Laguna Chute you obtain a fine view of Cerro Cuate. During the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Laguna Chute while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Laguna Chute temperatures fall to the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Zuni Mountains.       Laguna Chute gets very little rain; August is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Zuni Mountains. Camping is available at St Bonaventure RV Park; while you're here, you could also visit delightful Laguna Bonita.
