China Pond is pretty dried out commonly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is April. There are other spots here than China Pond, for example Playas Lake, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge       Lordsburg is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at China Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at China Pond temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
