Chimney Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Stay the night at Ship Rock Campground, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chimney Pond; Ute Springs Trail is a tremendous local trail. High temperatures at Chimney Pond through the months of summer are in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
