Any time is a delightful time at Laguna del Chical if you adore the outdoors. This lake is so wonderful. People from Grants love to come to Laguna del Chical; do put some time aside to spend at Rancho del Padre Spring while you're here at Laguna del Chical. At Laguna del Chical you don’t see much rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is April.       After a long day outdoors Travelodge is a fine location to spend a night or two, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Coyote Del Malpais Golf Course. Lavaland RV Park is a perfect campground here, and a trip to El Malpais National Monument is recommended. Laguna del Chical is located in the Zuni Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Zuni Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Grants Travelodge, and you can stay the                  night at Cibola Sands RV Park. At Laguna del Chical all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
