There's so much to do here at Laguna del Chical that you need to camp here for a while, Lavaland RV Park is a good place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Coyote       Del Malpais Golf Course is a great golf course close by, and if you're visiting from Grants, you won't be the only one. If you came to camp Grants / Cibola Sands KOA is a great place to do that, and Rancho del Padre Spring is always fun to check out. Around Laguna del Chical you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and April on the other hand is the driest.
