If you need a place to stay Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a nice choice, and here at Cherry Lake you can see Baca Mesa. Be careful coming to the Sacramento Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike along the Capitan Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Baca Campground is a great local campground. The Sacramento Mountains scenery       is always beautiful. Hiking along the Whiskey Trail is tremendous fun, and a brilliant location is Ellis Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cherry Lake you can take a hike along the Mitten Bar Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Deer Crossing RV Park is a glorious location to camp. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Cherry Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Cherry                  Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This location is excellent, just look at all the fun things to do close to Cherry Lake.
