    It's always fun to stop by Carcass Basin Number Three. Summertime highs at Carcass Basin Number Three commonly tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows at Carcass Basin Number Three through the winter generally sink into the 10's. The top of Sierra Aguilada is easily made out from Carcass Basin Number Three, and there's nice hiking along the The Catwalk National Recreation  
   Trail. And if that's not sufficient there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the San Francisco Mountains. Carcass Basin Number Three is not the only spot nearby, Pasture Trap Chute is a nearby lake; Carcass Basin Number Three is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Whitewater Campground is a splendid local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. San Francisco River is a glorious whitewater spot close to Carcass Basin Number Three, and don't leave Carcass
 
               Basin Number Three without first going for a hike along the Little Whitewater Trail. So many exciting things to do here at Carcass Basin Number Three, too perfect to be true. While staying at Carcass Basin Number Three you could always look at Big Pine Canyon, and you can run the rapids of San Francisco River. This lake is so wonderful. Visiting Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet.
Just can't get enough of the San Francisco Mountains. A tremendous place like Carcass Basin here at Carcass Basin Number Three is too tremendous to miss, and this vicinity is dominated by the Sierra Aguilada. Carcass Basin Number Three is pretty dried up commonly; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is May. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Francisco Mountains.
A pleasant site to camp here at Carcass Basin Number Three is Coal Creek Campground, and the Powerplant Road offers hiking at its best.
