Stay the night at Fawn Lakes Campground, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Twining Blue Lake Trail. Red River is a great local ski area, and Cabresto Lake Campground is a good campground here. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Getting to Lake Fork from Cabresto Lake is simple; if you've had enough of Cabresto Lake, Cabresto Lake is close by. After a long day outdoors Adobe       and Stars Inn is a nice location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western River's Edge. The slopes of Ski Rio are so inviting nobody can resist, and hiking along the Number 3 Lift Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Virgin Canyon is a perfect site to spend some time at, and for you golfers                  we recommend close by Red Eagle Golf Course. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Cabresto Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cabresto Lake. It is very dried up here at Cabresto Lake frequently; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
