The beauty of Cabresto Lake attracts many people from all around. Here at Cabresto Lake you can catch a glimpse of Cabresto Peak, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande. Do take a look at Latir Lakes near Cabresto Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and don't leave Cabresto Lake without first going for a hike along the Number 3 Lift Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A scenic lake like Heart Lake close to Cabresto Lake is a nice location to stop at; splendid

Cabresto Lake is mostly a relatively arid location; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. A great spot to camp here at Cabresto Lake is Fawn Lakes Campground; Red River has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area near Cabresto Lake has to offer. Camping at Cabresto Lake Campground is always a great experience, and after a long day outdoors Adobe
and Stars Inn is a delightful site to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cabresto Lake while night lows are usually in the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in
the 0's for Cabresto Lake.
Cabresto Lake really is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Ski Rio is a very popular ski area close by, and enjoy a round of golf at Red Eagle Golf Course. Virgin Canyon is a great location to stop at close by, and some of the water nearby flows, like Lake Fork.
