Caballo Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Sierra Grande Lodge & Health. Percha Creek flows through this area, and you can stay the night at R J RV Park. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Caballo Dam since you're here at Caballo Reservoir, and Caballo Koa Kampground is a delightful campground here. Caballo Reservoir gets very little precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while April

| | is mostly the driest month. After a long day outdoors Charles Motel & Spa is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and Apache Canyon is another brilliant place to stop at nearby. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Caballo Reservoir temperatures are commonly in the 90's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Caballo Reservoir are in the 20's.
