Sweeten Windmill is a great lake in close proximity to C-N Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything C-N Lake has to offer, you can camp at Datil Well Campground. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to El Malpais National Monument is recommended. There are other places here than C-N Lake, for example Clements Lake. There's so much to do here at C-N Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hughes Campground is a tremendous location for that. It

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to C-N Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and overnight lows at C-N Lake through the winter usually dip into the 10's. | |
