Around Burns Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while May is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a splendid time. There are some great whitewater spots on Rio Brazos; if you came to camp Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a splendid location to do that. This place is peerless, just look at all the amusing       stuff to do in the neighborhood of Burns Lake. At Burns Lake you always meet someone from Espanola. There's whitewater on Rio de los Brazos for all you adrenaline people, and Red Hill is a peak you can make out from Burns Lake. During the warm days of summer highs here at Burns Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Burns Lake                  throughout the winter usually plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Burns Lake, you'll stumble on Hidden Lake which is a scenic lake. There's so much to do here at Burns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trout Lakes Campground is a delightful place for that. Lakes are good; Trout Lakes is a lake that's in the vicinity of Burns Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is The Abiquiu Inn.
