    If you are in this part of New Mexico make sure to pay a visit to Bowl Lake. During the warm days of summer here at Bowl Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the winter for Bowl Lake tend to be in the 10's. Some of the water nearby flows, like Little Water Creek. There's so much to do here  
   at Bowl Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bowl Lake Campground is a great location for that. And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing stuff to do in the Chuska Mountains. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Gallup is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and a beautiful lake like Red Pond is a great place to go to.
If you like the outdoors, you'll fancy Bowl Lake. At Bowl Lake you don’t see much precipitation; the month of August
 
               is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. Bowl Lake is one of the lakes here in the Chuska Mountains.
A delightful nearby hotel is Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital, and splendid water scenery is available at Asaayi Dam near Bowl Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bowl Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Tse Bonito Campground is a pleasant local campground, and you'll discover a pretty lake called Sage Lake.

Nice little lake to fish, a bit weedy for a kayak, but can be done. Very quiet and alot of solitude on weekdays. Rumors of bigfoot abound, but haven't seen one yet....
