Throughout the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Bottomless Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Bottomless Lakes temperatures drop to the 30's. Juniper Lake is a nice lake near Bottomless Lakes, and you can stay the night at Queen Store Cafe and RV Park.       Bottomless Lakes is a location that is relatively dried out commonly; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while March is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you need a location to stay Carlsbad-Days Inn is a fine choice. A tour to Double Canyon Draw is always fun; if you're here you can take a hike along the Golden Stairway Trail. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Lakes? Sure,                  Smith Waterhole is in close proximity, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Ussery Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Whites City Resort, and do take a hike on the Double Trail.
